Déni Oumar Pitsaev / France, Belgium / 0 / 109 min
After a life fragmented by exile, a man raised in France returns to his roots in Georgia to build the treehouse he dreamed of in childhood and to find stability.
At 40, Oumar returns to Georgia's Pankisi Gorge, an area populated by Chechens. On the plot of land purchased by his mother, he plans to build a treehouse. The construction project becomes a journey through which the director confronts his own needs and imagination regarding home/belonging and stability with those of his parents, as well as those of the traditional Chechen community.
