About the film
The film quietly observes life in a village in Bistrița-Năsăud through the rituals surrounding the death of one of its members. The gravediggers, the local barbershop – a place for stories and confessions – and a funeral create a portrait of a community where death is part of everyday life. Between funeral songs, jokes and intimate moments, the film captures the bonds between people and the memory of a place suspended between continuity and change.
