A team of French investigators tracks a criminal network from Iași that exploits minors involved in pickpocketing in central Paris. An investigation into a system where children are turned into tools of organized crime.
After hundreds of pickpocketing cases in the Paris metro, France’s Juvenile Protection Brigade attempts to dismantle a criminal network with European connections. Through surveillance, interrogations and cooperation with Romanian authorities, investigators trace the organization back to Iași, uncovering a system based on the exploitation, control and vulnerability of several families. Beyond the investigation, the film reveals the limits of justice when confronted with a reality in which children are both victims of exploitation and participants in a criminal network.
